Chris Nolan
On Tuesday, Chris Nolan came to talk to our Essential Computer Skills Class about search engines, specifically Google. Nolan walked the class through the facets of Google, and everyone learned a lot. For instance, I was not aware that there were certain cheats that one could use to narrow down their search. Tools such as using quotations, including the word site and define with a colon, and using the + button were all new devices that I will surely be using in my future Google searches. Nolan's lecture was certainly informative and useful for our class.
